Purpose: (Ephesians 4:11-13)
The Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church United Voices of Hope Ministry is responsible for the teaching, training, and functioning of music throughout the entire church body.  The Music Ministry is committed to the proclamation and declaration of the Christian Inspirational through song, fulfilling its responsibilities to the glory of God and the edification of His Saints unto the winning of the lost to Christ.  The Music Ministry is structured into three major entities: Musician Staff, Choirs/Leadership Council and Support Ministries.

Objective: (Acts 1:8)
The Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church United Voices of Hope Ministry is a vehicle of evangelism whose expressions are embodied within various musical idioms: Psalms, hymns, anthems, spirituals, traditional and contemporary Inspirational music, and melodies and rhythms of African origin.
Our primary focus is music for worship within the body of Christ called Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, both vocal and instrumental, as well as the development of skilled singers and instrumentalists, both musically and in the Word of God (Ps. 33:3-4).  We also endeavor to serve beyond these hallowed walls into the community, state, and nation through various outreach opportunities.  We resolve as a ministry to support and carry out whole-heartedly the mission and goals of this local church and ministry.

Goal: (Ephesians 5:15-20)
The goal of this United Voices of Hope Ministry is to edify the body of Christ in our praise, worship, service, commitment, conduct, speech and love for the one another.  As we “Raise the Standards” (Phil. 3:14) while “Walking the Spirit-filled Life” (Eph. 5:17-20) God will blend the excellence of our musical skill and knowledge of His Word with the special ingredient that only He can give – the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  We must monitor ourselves that we render to the hearers a song message direct from God.
